The Mermaid Inn is the Danish Canadian Club’s fully licensed restaurant and lounge serving delicious traditional Danish dishes and Canadian cuisine. We have a range of Canadian menu items and some traditional Danish fare such as herring, open faced sandwiches, frikadeller, and medisterpolse. Check out our menu below.
Our lounge is fully stocked with the usual local beers, wine and liqueurs and with imported Danish beers on tap or bottled (Carlsberg, Tuborg, Faxe) and of course Akvavit if you are looking for something a little more Viking like.

The Mermaid Inn has daily lunch and dinner specials during the week but on Saturday don't miss out on Peter's Famous Saturday morning brunch. Watch as your omelette is custom made in front of you with your favourite ingredients then select from the hot and cold buffet items to complete your feast. Your choices include; bacon, sausage, hash-browns, a variety of cold cuts, cheeses and pastries. Don't forget to go back and finish with aebleskivers covered with berry compote and whipped cream.
