If you've dined at the original Mermaid Inn you will recognize the chairs and many of the decorations from the old club. You may even find a chair with a family members name plaque on it. Table cloths and linen napkins are the norm in a Danish home regardless of what meal of the day you're having; it's part of the "hygge" atmosphere.

 

In conjunction with the Austrian Canadian Society chefs; we have many Danish classics like herring, medisterpølse, frikadeller and seafood platter.  We have weekly lunch and dinner specials that may include other classics like open face sandwiches and Flæskesteg. The menu offers the choice to also try traditional Austrian dishes or mix and match as you wish.

 

 A selection of local and import beers (including Carlsberg, Tuborg, Faxe), wine, liqueurs, Danish Gammel Dansk and Akvavit (sure to awaken your inner Viking spirit) is available from the bar. ​
