Rare Opportunity for Danes in Calgary

May 22-25, the 44th Annual Conference of the Danish Federation of Canada

Thursday evening, May 22, gala opening dinner at the Dorian Hotel with the Danish Ambassador to Canada, the Mayor of Calgary, and the Alberta Minister of Immigration and Multiculturalism in attendance.  Menu features Alberta trout (or chicken).  Let's have a great turn out and show that the Danish community in  Canada is thriving!

Friday, May 23, a Day in Dickson at the Danish Canadian National Museum, the Dickson Store Museum, and Markerville Creamery Museum.  Meals are a lunch of open-faced sandwiches, and a dinner with roast pork, caramelized potatoes, red cabbage, etc.

Saturday, May 24,  a morning at Dana Village in Calgary with guest speakers on Danish Immigration to Alberta, and Danish Immigration to Saskatchewan.  Lunch is included.
