“Slå katten af tønden” is Danish for” hit the cat out of the barrel”. Come learn the history of this old Danish tradition. Registered kids, in three age groups, will get the chance to break open three traditional wooden barrels. The kids who break open the barrels and reveal the fun inside (no real cats) will be crowned the Cat Queen or Cat King!

Costumes are encouraged! You might even win a prize for your costume.

Lunch is included in the registration for kids 12 and under.
